Applications are now open for the DLL Conference 2026 in Zanzibar, Tanzania – a transformative 4 – day fully funded immersive international conference experience bringing together youth leaders, changemakers, entrepreneurs, students, educators, innovators, policy makers, politicians, and influencers from across Africa and the globe. Set in the heart of Zanzibar’s UNESCO World Heritage Site – Stone Town, this immersive experience blends leadership development, sustainable and eco-tourism, education, sustainable development, cultural exchange nights, and above all, will expose delegates to global networking and life changing connections with likeminded individuals.

  • Purchase a discounted delegates package at $500 only
  • Enjoy all the benefits listed for the FULLY FUNDED delegates with only exception of the airfare/bus fare and airport transfer fees while with Tanzania that should be covered by the partially funded delegates
  • ALEN takes care of the rest in form of partial in-kind funding
  • Ideal for delegates who can cover their airfare or bus fare travel from their departure

  • Make and manage independent arrangements from travel to accommodation to meals and all conference related tour transport and activity fees, purely arranged and paid independently without our involvement

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1

  • Complete the online application form via our website. CLICK HERE.
  • Fill out all the application sections, carefully and thoughtfully to increase your selection chances.
  • Remember to fill and submit the scholarship application if you are interested in additional conference funding.
  • Don’t wait to submit last to avoid technical challenges and disappointments. Our website and internal systems might be slower towards the closing days due to higher traffic, so, the earlier the better.

STEP 2

  • Applications will be reviewed by an independent panel of experts, considering each candidates unique leadership experience, motivation, and suitability for the conference.
  • Await selection and confirmation from our team through and only our official emails.
  • We do not solicit any other additional money or any other form of application or processing fees apart from the one time universal and public application fee subjected to all applicants and payable during the application process, which is $22 USD.
  • Therefore, report to us or ignore any subsequent emails or messages that might come to you soliciting money from to be selected as a delegate. DO NOT BE SCAMMED or fall prey to phishing and fraud stars soliciting money through emails!

STEP 2

FINAL SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
  • Finalist delegates for each delegates category will be notified via our official email and provided with further instructions for participation.
  • Due to higher volumes of applications received, we’re unfortunately unable to respond back to each and every unsuccessful applicant individually.
