Istanbul Global Youth Climate Leadership Convention (IGYCC) 2026
When: 6 – 9 November 2026
Where: Istanbul → (Symbolic transition to COP31 UN meetings in Antalya), Türkiye
Application/Registration Fee: USD $17 (Early Bird Applicants), and USD $20 (During regular application period).
Open to: Applicants aged 16–45 from all nationalities.
Tests or Scores: Not required.
Academic requirement: From High School and above.

Please read the following before submitting your application:
- The USD $17 or USD $20 application fee is mandatory and non-refundable for all delegates category.
- You application profile will only be considered for further review and processing upon full payment of the applicable application fees.
- Applicants should submit accurate information. False, incomplete or misleading information may affect your application outcome.
- All official communication will come only through verified AfriLead EduTourism Network channels as listed under "Contact Us" on this website.
- All mandatory or required fields of the application should be completed. Please pay attention and respect the word limits for essay questions to ensure that your application submission can be successfully received.
- Fully funded applications will be evaluated on merit, leadership potential, and alignment with the convention strategic theme, activities, and goals.
- NOTE 1: All official convention applications are submitted exclusively on this Website. We do not authorise third-party agents or individuals to receive, evaluate, select, or award delegate seats outside of our organisational official communication channels.
- NOTE 2: All application fees will be collected via and only through payment links or methods as provided to you the applicant via our official communication channels.

Application Fee Notice/Reminder to Ensure Your Application is Valid
All applicants are required to pay the official USD $17 or USD $20 application and administrative processing fee.
Your application will only be reviewed after successful payment confirmation. The application fee is non-refundable unless otherwise the Convention has been cancelled by the organisers.
Please make payments only through official AfriLead EduTourism Network payment provided links or channels discussed with one of our staffs via our official communication channels. ALEN does not authorize third-party individuals to collect payments or request unofficial fees from any of our applicants.
What Happens After You Submit?
1. Application Received.
You will receive an automatic confirmation after submitting the form.
2. Payment & Verification.
You should contact us or you may be contacted by our office via official channels to arrange for your application fee payment that validates your submitted application form as complete.
3. Review & Selection.
Applications will be reviewed by an independent internal and external committee especially for the fully funded delegates, based on motivation, leadership potential, impact and alignment with the convention theme, activities, and goals.
4. Official Outcome Notification.
Selected applicants will be contacted through official AfriLead EduTourism Network channels with next steps within one and by latest two weeks after the official application deadline.
