4th World Sports Tourism Congress

The 4th World Sports Tourism Congress – organized by UN Tourism in collaboration with the Secretariat of Tourism of México, the Secretariat of Tourism of Mexico City, the Mexico City Tourism Promotion Fund, and the Affiliate Member the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CONCANACO SERVYTUR) – will take place in Mexico City from 7 to 9 September 2026.

In the strategic context following the celebration of the FIFA World Cup 2026, with Mexico as one of the host countries, the Congress will bring together public authorities, destinations, sports organizations, companies and investors to examine sports tourism as a driver of development, investment and territorial transformation, with a focus on its impact on local communities.
