Please complete all event and scholarship application sections in English. However, an exception applies to citizens of East African Community (EAC) member states, who may complete their application entirely in either English or Swahili. Despite this language option, the evaluation criteria, selection process, and scholarship awarding metrics remain consistent for all applicants, regardless of their region.

Focus on submitting one strong, well-thought-out application rather than spreading yourself thin with multiple applications that may not align with your skills or experience.

While showcasing your accomplishments is important, your personality and the way you present yourself also matter. We want to see your work in action, but more importantly, we want to understand who you are beyond your achievements.

Before submitting, double-check your application to ensure it’s clear, complete, and easy to understand. Does it communicate everything you want to convey? Consider asking a friend, family member, or colleague to review your application for mistakes and provide constructive feedback.

Internet issues can strike unexpectedly. To prevent losing your work, save a copy of your application on a separate document. Working on your responses offline also gives you the chance to refine them before completing the online submission.

Avoid rushing through the application process and missing key details. Mistakes in critical fields like your email address, phone number, or passport/ID number can jeopardize your chances. Take your time, remain calm, and ensure every field is accurately completed before submission.
